Belhazar

Discover Belhazar, a unique retreat located just outside Essaouira, surrounded by argan trees and the distinctive landscapes of the Moroccan countryside. Taken over by Les Maisons CAB in 2026, the estate brings together traditional Moroccan architecture, contemporary art and design in a peaceful residential setting.

Spanning 475 m², Belhazar can accommodate up to 22 guests across 11 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The estate consists of a nine-bedroom main house and an independent two-bedroom pavilion, complemented by generous living spaces, terraces and gardens. Three heated swimming pools, including private pools and a shared lap pool, extend the experience outdoors.

Traditional materials such as tadelakt, bejmat and zellige are combined with carefully selected furniture and contemporary artworks. Curated by Samy Ghiyati and Nicolas Nahab, the collection features works by Yto Barrada, Amina Agueznay and Mbarek Bouhchichi, as well as an in-situ intervention by Latifa Echakhch created for the swimming pool.
